We started out on the road tired, but feeling confident enough to brave the sleepiness. John drove about halfway, then woke me out my wonderful slumber to drive. It was tortuous to do my best to stay awake, but we made it safely to Redwood City. I got in a little sleep at John's place before heading off to work.
